What is CrossFit?


CrossFit is a lifestyle.  It’s a lifestyle aimed at defeating our greatest health epidemic.  It’s eating right, living healthy, and exercising vigorously, moving our bodies the way they were designed to move.  CrossFit is about being a kid again.  Getting away from that desk and moving; running, jumping, climbing… taking an hour out of your day to have a great time playing with some great friends. 

It’s not some hyper advanced, super-fitness program inaccessible to the average person.  CrossFit is for everyone!   Through its methodology of nutrition, wellness, and exercise based on natural body movement, CrossFit will help you lose weight, feel better, perform better, and live a longer, healthier, more independent life NO MATTER what your start point is. 

Our training program is designed by world class coach, Michele Letendre (weblink) and her team at Deka Comp (weblink), to suit every fitness, age, and capability level. If you’re someone moving your body athletically for the first time in years or you’ve been training intensively you will find success training with us. Our program isn’t rigid. Its designed to be flexible and our coaches are expert in modifying and adapting exercises and workouts to fit your needs and give you a fun, challenging, safe workout. CrossFit is a community of people from every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, teens, kids, moms and dads, people with physical challenges, you name it. Our daily workouts are designed for everyone. Our tribe is for everyone. We challenge you to give us a try. If you do, be warned, you will be hooked and you won’t look back.

We’ve been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. We met at a CrossFit box, fell in love with each other and the lifestyle of CrossFit. Cara has been an athlete all her life. Tim was a soldier. We both had been a part of the big box / globo gym scene but found it boring, stagnant. What really hooked us about CrossFit was:
